Grant easement over land

An easement may be granted for the benefit of the public, such as a right of way for a footpath. An easement may also be granted for the benefit of a specific individual or organisation, such as a right of way for a utility company to access its equipment. An easement may be necessary in order to gain access to land that would otherwise be inaccessible.
