Offer alternative employment

If an individual is offered alternative employment by their current employer, it may be because the employer is looking to reduce costs by making redundancies. The offer of alternative employment may be made in an attempt to keep the individual in their current role. Alternatively, the employer may feel that the individual has the skills and experience to do a different job within the company.
