Can either party disclose confidential information if required by law?

1.1.The restriction in paragraph 6.1 does not apply to:

1.2.any use or disclosure authorised by the Company or as required by law; or

1.3.any information which is already in, or comes into, the public domain otherwise than through your unauthorised disclosure.

1.1.Either party may disclose the other's Confidential Information to the extent required by law or by any court, tribunal, regulator or other authority with competent jurisdiction to order its disclosure (but only to the extent of such requirement).
