Letter of Recommendation (for a coworker or former employee)

A letter of recommendation is one of the best ways to secure someone a job offer, and to go that extra mile to help somebody out. A well-written letter of recommendation can make a large difference in someone's career. It can give them the push they need to get that new job, promotion or internship. This template assumes that you are recommending someone you work with or have worked with in the past.

• Keep it simple. The key element here is that you are recommending them, and you are willing to back it up with a story or two.

• Don't write too much. Each paragraph should be just 2 or 3 sentences long.

• If the recipient wants to know more, then your contact details are attached so they can get in touch.
