Antenatal Appointments Policy (Taking Time Off)

This policy sets out the arrangements for employees and agency workers to take time off to attend antenatal appointments, and for employees and qualifying agency workers to take time off to accompany a pregnant woman to antenatal appointments.

• The policy should ensure that employees and agency workers are able to take the time off they need to attend antenatal appointments, without suffering any detriment

• The policy should also set out the procedure for employees and agency workers to request time off for antenatal appointments, and how such requests will be dealt with
